Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 will support fast charging up to 25W

 6 months ago  Tungtata  3780 #News

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 and Z Fold3 are considered a massive success for Samsung and the folding screen phone market in 2021.

The duo attracted a lot of attention from users, not only technology enthusiasts. It helped them break pre-order records and all-time sales records globally for the foldable product.

Although there are many praises for the Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3, there are also many complaints about the phones' durability. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is only equipped with a 3300mAh battery and 15W charging, which is significantly slower than the widespread 25W fast charging even on mid-range phones like the Samsung Galaxy A52.

Samsung understands this, as a recent electronic certification in China confirms that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will support 25W fast charging.

The data is extracted from China's 3C Consumer Safety Certification database, which reveals that two Samsung foldable phone models are expected to arrive in the Chinese market by the end of the year. In particular, these two phone models carry model numbers SM-F9360 and SM-F7210, respectively Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4.

The listing reveals that both these phones will be made in Vietnam, have 5G connectivity, and most importantly, both are confirmed to have 25W fast charging support.

Those are also the only information revealed based on China's 3C certification list. Let's wait and see if we will have more new information shortly.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series will soon receive One UI 5.0 Beta update based on Android 13

 5 months ago  Tungtata  11853 #News

It goes without saying that Samsung is the king of software updates. Even the Korean giant surpassed Google.

Currently, Samsung has recently rolled out One UI 4.1 version on most of its major Galaxy devices. And it looks like the company is preparing to release Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta for the Galaxy S22 series.

According to TizenHelp, Samsung has started developing the Android 13 beta version for the Galaxy S22 series because the latest version has been discovered for the Galaxy S22 in Korea with software version S906NKSU2ZVF6.

Looking at recent developments, it wouldn't be surprising if Samsung started its beta testing program in July. The Galaxy S22 series including the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra will be among the first devices to receive the new beta. However, there will also be many Samsung flagships getting this beta update soon.

Samsung recently made some changes to its update policy allowing Galaxy S22 users in European countries to receive this beta update soon.

The Android 13 release date has yet to be announced as the operating system is still under development. However, Google has shared a schedule that suggests a stable release will be around August 2022. Currently, Google has yet to release the third beta version of Android 13.

Wait and watch it.

Samsung devices that are eligible for the One UI 5.0 beta program

 2 months ago  Tungtata  22970 #News #One UI 5.0

The One UI 5.0 beta update based on Android 13 has now been officially rolled out to users by Samsung. However, not all devices can participate in this program.
As usual, only a handful of Samsung devices are eligible for the One UI 5.0 beta program. Although in recent years, the Korean company has expanded the testing of the new software to more devices, it is still limited to flagship phone models.

Samsung devices are eligible for the One UI 5.0 beta program
With the One UI 4.0 beta program last year, Samsung rolled it out to the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, Galaxy Note 10, and Galaxy Note 20 series. There are also foldable devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 2Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Since the Galaxy S10 is not on the list of Samsung devices eligible for the Android 13 update, it will of course not be able to participate in the One UI 5.0 beta. As for the Galaxy S series, the test program will be limited to the Galaxy S22Galaxy S21, and Galaxy S20 series.

The Galaxy Note 10 also suffered the same fate as the Galaxy S10, so it didn't receive the test update either. Samsung has discontinued the Galaxy Note series, so it remains to be seen if it will release beta versions for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Both these devices will definitely get One UI 5.0 and Android 13 once the update is officially rolled out.

Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and Galaxy Z Flip 5G are all eligible for the One UI 5.0 update, so it's likely that they will also be included in the test program. Both the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 may also be included in the beta program.

Unfortunately, Samsung's mass-market devices such as the Galaxy A and Galaxy M series will not be able to participate in the beta program. That won't change with One UI 5.0. Users of these devices will receive the official Android 13 update once they are released.

Samsung Firmware Download Tips

To make your device run with no errors and avoid misbehaving, you need to make sure you have downloaded the correct firmware that meets exactly your model. Before you launch the download session, you need to consider several crucial details. They include your device model number, build date, OS, and region where it was produced. Only when all of the above-mentioned aspects match, you may download the software and have it installed on your gadget.
We do not recommend avoiding sing unbranded software especially if your device is not SIM-locked and you use a carrier-branded tablet, smartphone, or wearable. Users generally have two major options to improve their Samsung device performance.
Option 1 – Download the Firmware from the Official Website
The first way to bring your Samsung device back to life is to go to the official producer website. Here you may also find the official software available for download. The key downside here is that you will not be able to sort out each digital package by region or OS. The company rolls out only new software versions for its latest devices. At the same time, the downloading process is a bit more complicated and requires additional steps to take.
Option 2 – Download Samsung Firmware from Samfw.com
We offer a simpler and faster way to download the needed software directly to your phone without special actions. The process does not require any technical skills. Whether you are a newbie who has never handled the firmware update process before or a technical geek with dozens of successful update sessions - get the needed firmware with just several clicks and improve your Samsung device performance.
